INTD 1820 Leadership Seminar


The Leadership Seminars (INTD 1820s) are designed to introduce first and second year students to the basic concepts and principles of leadership. Through activities, discussions, and assignments, students learn and reflect on components of effective leadership and are encouraged to apply them through their engagement on campus and beyond. Topics include: characteristics of leadership, group dynamics, ethical leadership, value development, personality inventories, goal setting, and more.

As a result of these seminars students will:
  • Enhance self-awareness regarding their leadership potential
  • Define and redefine concepts of leadership
  • Be empower to have the confidence and skills to live a life of leadership
  • Become familiarize with campus values
Additional Information:

Leadership Seminars are also available to first year students electing to live in the Leadership Living Learning Community ( Learning Communities, Leadership Community ) on campus and will integrate their on-campus residential experience with the topics covered in these Seminars.
